Cadence's parents hid her in the closet, as they bartered with the witch over a deal they had made in the past, but the witch ended up vaporizing them, making Cadence cry, and reviling her to the witch. The witch then and cursed Cadence until she gave her was she wanted, but then other being came in and took the witch before the witch could tell Cadence what she wanted, and Cadence is pretty sure they had killed the witch, so it wouldn't have mattered anyway. The curse stated that Cadence life force had been moved into her hair, and that she could never cut it, and if she did she would die. There for she would forever be growing her hair out. So, Cadence has kept her hair long ever since. She's been looking for a way to break the curse, but she can't seem to find one. So she's just braided the hair a lot so that it's not touching the floor and has been dealing with it. After her parents death she moved into her grandma's flower shop, and started helping her with the flowers. Her grandma died about a year ago, and Cadence has taken over the business herself.
