History/Other From the beginning, Ciro had been a mistake. He had been the product of a drunken night between two colleagues. Although, the woman may very well be well known by some. His mother had run off to Mexico once upon a time and came across his father. The two of them were artists, aspiring to take on the world. He had fallen in love with her, desperately so. Yet, he made no attempts to get her to stay in Mexico. To stay with him as it were. She wanted her freedom. She couldn't stay with him forever. And it killed him inside. But on one day when they both had been drinking in his studio, Cirino had been conceived. She had been horrified then, nearly making the attempt to get rid of the child herself. His father was quick to propose and take responsibility for what had happened, not wanting the woman to suffer any more than she already seemed to be. She ran off the minute that she was discharged from the hospital, leaving his father alone with their child. Heartbroken and confused. She had left without a word. No sign of where she was going to go, what she was going to do. And with no one to turn to and no where to go (as his parents no longer wanted anything to do with a child borne out of wedlock), his father sought to raise the child on his own. His muse was shattered and his art failed to sell for much longer. But he did not blame it on the child. The child, after all, had nothing to do with it. He named him Cirino, 'like the sun'. Something that he once thought of the boy's mother to be. Unable to support himself and suffer the misery he had imposed, he threw himself to liquor. It was from that point forward that Cirino began to support himself. He had only been three at the time, but even so. He had taken it upon himself to take care of his constantly drunk father. The man would act as though he couldn't recognize his child. Which for the most part, wasn't untrue. He didn't complain and he tried not to think much of it. His father couldn't take care of himself and that was fine. For much of his childhood, he raised himself and spent time teaching himself the basic things that he needed to learn to survive. He would do various odd jobs to save up for clothing and textbooks. He didn't blame the man for the way that they both lived. They could really only blame the unfortunate circumstances that they both had fallen into. On August 15th of his eighteenth year of existence, Cirino found himself sitting next to his father in the hospital. His father had fallen ill. Probably from liver failure after the alcohol got the better of him. But before the man had died, he had promised to his child that he would protect him. And he apologized for the years that they had spent in poverty and suffering the way that they had. He died not long after. It was also the day of his birthday - something that the now police officer no longer celebrates. The police had disclosed to him that he still had living family in the following hours, however. His mother had married into another family, leaving him with a half sibling that he had yet to ever meet. The next day, Cirino applied for a passport, a visa, and a ride to the United States. He had no reason to remain in his home country any longer. And when he had been teaching himself at home, he learned the English language. It was more than enough. It was all he needed, even. The rest of his life from then until now remained as something of a blur. He arrived not long after and applied for his citizenship not long after. He moved around for some time. He can't exactly remember anymore where he visited. He wandered around for some time, just looking for information on his family though he had yet to find any of them everywhere he went. He can remember why he became a police officer though. He had seen people getting treated unfairly and being taken from because they were too weak to stop them. He was quick to intervene on their behalf and was later offered a position in the police department. Where he had happened to end up, he realized, was the small town of Gravity Falls. He has continued to work there since, although he is unsure why he remains employed. It's not like he really does anything after all. The only real reason that he has stayed all these years however, is because the last piece of information that he had received about his family reported that they all had moved to the small town. He continues to search for them, though has had no luck thus far. CIRINO VARGAS looks similar to SORINOZUKA RENSHOU of INU X BOKU SS THIS CHARACTER IS PLAYED BY *LILLY |
