History/Other Give us a history overview of your character, even if they are a native. What kind of influential things happened in their past to shape them today? Views on controversies? What do they think about the new businesses? The product of an alcoholic father and an overly-involved mother, Ricky was set up from failure since he could walk. His father was abusive, his mother was controlling. So Ricky rebelled. His learning disability with letters never got diagnosed, he was bullied at school. The only solace the hispanic child found was in tinkering with cogs and gears. The years passed, resentment grew. The child, now without a working parental unit (as his father had moved out), and started to rebel. Smoking, breaking curfew, excursions into the woods. Not to mention summer flings, vandalizing, and eventually drugs. A path of destruction. He tried to drop out of school, but his mother wouldn't have it. Even if her son was lost and confused, he was gonna get an education! Unfortunately, the end of his education was in an alternative facility... at rehab. He was shipped off for a year or two, to get rid of his 'demonic' ways. But not all were squashed. Though he doesn't talk about rehab, something bad happened there to help him straighten at least... part of the way back to normal. He came back a semi-changed man. He moved out of his house, into an apartment, and started working at the mechanics. Sure, he still smokes, and what a woman doesn't know won't hurt her, but... he's at least honest with himself now. He may be a no good young adult who can't go anywhere in his life, but at least he knows it now. And he knows he doesn't care what goes on in Gravity Falls, as long as he can leave the town.
