[bg=272727] SEVEN--and, yes, his name is just seven--is a cryptographer for an extensive family knee-deep in cracking the uncrackable, and his entire being is paved with secrets. though he seems relatively approachable (if you aren't fooled by how lazy he looks most days), in the end seven doesn't talk about himself much--so you're better off trying to find out the history of the world from a single sheet of paper. he's just a kid with too much responsibility, and if he had his way, he probably would've had a proper childhood. alas. [style=background:#111111; font-size:9px; font-weight:bold; line-height:12px; text-transform:uppercase; float:left; padding:0 3px; padding-bottom:1px; margin-right:5px;] FRIENDS though he doesn't make it a habit to get to know people, sometimes it's inevitable. seven is compassionate, a trait inherited from the grandfather who raised him, and a lot of times he sympathizes with people even though he knows he shouldn't. he tries not to let anyone know a lot about him due to the... strange circumstances of his life, and he's also a little afraid of letting anyone in because there's the risk of him being shipped off somewhere else without warning. if there's anything seven hates more than not knowing things, it's losing people he's close to, though needless to say he'll probably keep tabs on you even if he lives in the north pole. creepy as it is, it's a way of showing that he 'cares'. seven is relentlessly loyal, almost to a fault, and though he doesn't like admitting it, he gets attached terribly easy. he likes to layer things with a lot of snarky humor (and some thinly-veiled insults), but don't be fooled. he really does appreciate company, even if he likes to claim otherwise. ENEMIES anyone who's incredibly nosy irritates him. anyone who tries to find out what he is and what he does makes him even angrier. what takes the cake, though, are anarchists and people who even dare to threaten those he cares for. seven isn't above throwing fists--in the end, he's a kid, after all--and though he's not one for cursing, he's always liable to start spouting softy muttered venom under his breath. he tries not to show his more negative feelings solely because reactions are what fuel the terrible behavior, but seven's not a god, and he's liable to crack like every other human being on earth is. nevertheless, if you do decide to get on his bad side, don't think he'll let it go easily. if seven was blessed with anything, it was a brilliant memory, and he'll most likely never forget your name. ever. (and your offense towards him, of course.) LOVERS something seven's more paranoid of than making too many friends is falling in love. he doesn't believe in physical over emotional, so the only love he's capable of feeling is the soul-searing, wing-spreading, passionate kind; let's forget the fact that he's 'a kid and doesn't know any better', too. him loving anyone is bad in his eyes, because he would never be able to tell them everything about him, and he would never be able to let them know that his family isn't... just a family. nevermind the fact that there's a high chance seven's going to be randomly booted in some other faraway location, too. still, if ever things go that way, there's no doubt that seven would dedicate himself wholly and completely to the person he cares for. he's a hopeless romantic at heart, and kind of a sap when it all boils down to it, and he's capable of getting wildly jealous and possessive, so in the end he'd probably be a terrible lover. so to speak. but hey, some people fall for that, right?[/style]

CHANEL + SEVEN yeah, shit's going to go down between the two of them. to sum things up, chanel is my sassy diva that knows everything that there is to know about anything in gravity falls. it's a he by the way, don't let the name/face claim/personality fool you. but he's the nosiest person alive and it'll drive him insane if he doesn't get any dirt on seven. so you can be sure that'll cause some tension considering how seven doesn't like nosy people and chanel's the gossip queen and basically information gatherer in the town. add/subtract/delete?

VALEN + SEVEN well, good news! valen doesn't get more closed off than they come. well. alright. not good news. but she's a shapeshifter, so. there's that to discuss. i'm not sure if they could actually be friends unless seven doesn't really mind valen's inner otaku and otherwise awkward... behavior. she's kind of out of touch with the human world. yeah, i dunno. she's just kind of weird and seems to know more than she lets on. if you got any ideas for him and valen (also a trap), shoot? i got nothing. add/subtract/delete?

[bg=272727] ohhhh boy, yep, sev doesn't like chanel automatically. he's not above admitting he's a hypocrite, though--i mean, sev's trying to find out the underlying source of all the weirdness coming from gravity falls, so he's sticking his nose in business that isn't his problem, too. but still. for some reason i just see sev constantly resisting the urge to just smack the girl (well, guy, but sev doesn't know that) in the head, because a) she's a girl and b) what would his grandfather think of him? hahaha! it'll anger him terribly, but when he realizes that chanel just isn't going to give up, he'll definitely attempt to up the ante. drop hints that he's secretly an alien from out of this world, make strange tribal drawings all over his front door, suddenly walk around town in a wife-beater with intricate tattoos on his arms... seven's an ass, really, and if chanel wants to talk about him, then fine--as long as sev isn't giving away any real information. i just have an image in my head of the two of them actually "getting along" at some point, although it'd definitely be one of those frenemy things where all they do is bicker and hate each other when really, the game is fun. idk??? i'm just throwing rambles now~

[bg=272727] valen's just going to remind him of himself, i hope you know that. 8| sev grew up homeschooled by his grandfather, and so technically he doesn't know any of the kids in town other than by name (because that's what his family does, okay, they get files on people and store them in their memory banks and they're basically huge stalkers). only recently has he figured out that to be able to properly gather information he's going to have to be able to talk to people, and that's really the only reason he does. he's probably going to want to talk to valen sooner or later, because she's someone in town who he's never spoken to. and sev's terrible and always worries despite constantly telling himself that things aren't his business, so i see him trying to befriend her anyway, despite the fact that she isn't good at socializing. sev is a total dick to himself in the sense that he knows he shouldn't make friends but lets himself do it anyway. really. it's a hard knock life. he'd probably try to bring her out of her shell by teasing, but in the end i suppose they'd just be in a... comfortable relationship. like maybe he can talk to her about the weather and she can nod her head or shake it in response and that's it; they don't really discuss secrets, but they have this kind of silent camaraderie? OH BOY I'M BAD AT PLOTS TOO

CHANEL + SEVEN it's okay if sev doesn't like him. not a lot of people like him anyway. so it's no skin off his bones. i think chanel might just play it up if he ever did give in to hitting 'her'. he's something of a drama queen after all. but if sev went around doing that, i'm pretty sure chanel would just eat it up and blog constantly. it'd keep him off of sev's back at least. or it'll keep chanel from staring and researching too deeply into why he's in gravity falls. i could see that happening actually. chanel isn't really the kind of person who makes friends. but i'm sure after a while, he'll catch on that sev has just been entertaining him and then stop blogging about him. and etc. but maybe chanel can help him out with information on some people that he thinks are too weird to function, idek.

VALEN + SEVEN it's all good. valen grew up as a cat for most of her childhood and then ran around in the forest for the longest damn time. so the awkward 'i don't really know who you are' probably can help them bond. or something. i'm not really sure if valen would even talk to him if he made the attempt. she's one of those 'don't look at me i'm not even alive' people. but she'd probably answer once she figured out he's talking to her. but yeah, that works for me! valen's comfortable as long as she doesn't feel like people are trying to pry from her. she might actually be a little nervous around him simply because she doesn't want him to find out what exactly she is and why she's come back to gravity falls. i also could see her asking him questions about normal behavioral things. she wouldn't have a clue about the 'human' world so to speak. so manners, pop culture, the fact you have to wear clothes all the time. yeah. maybe he can educate her on that too? pft. idk. we can be bad at making plots together?
